I compare my intuitive experience of painting to automatic writing. Both are a way to channel information through a psychic sense. Colors come into my mind's eye. Sometimes colors and shapes appear with the naked eye around an individual. In a reading, I'll sometimes get flashes of images or scenes. I might get certain feelings that have meaning, or get a sudden psychic knowing packed with information. I find that I'm relaxed when I paint, and the motion of it grounds me, both of which allow my higher senses to open up more fully.

I associate each color, shade, and in-between hue with their own vibe, emotions, or themes. There are very basic, surface meanings, and common interpretations which you can find on my website. While the colors separately have meaning, what really brings an aura interpretation together is considering the meanings of each in the presence of each other. What the colors in an aura painting mean is personal to you.

Your aura is as dynamic as life and the world. Each experience, joy, lesson learned, wish made, all influences the flow and color of your aura. In my experience, some colors stay with us for many years, while some shift and change over months. Some colors can even come and go within moments. Observing your aura over time is an interesting and thought-provoking perspective of you, like a journal through color.

Truthfully, this is (like most things) a matter of perception.  I believe that every color in an aura painting offers helpful insight to guide you toward your highest path. In this work, I encourage you to embrace all elements of yourself as a piece of the lovable whole. I love to use the cake recipe analogy. On it's own, baking soda may not be all that enjoyable, but it's a crucial component to the batter that creates imbalance when left out.

In my experience, auras are a very real and a normal part of life! Everything has energy, and energy makes up everything. It has been called different names across history and culture: Life Force, Qi, Prana, Holy Spirit, Chi, Pneuma, Anima, Aether, Universal Energy. At the very base level of reality, everything is vibration, with differing frequencies. These frequencies can be detected in different ways, one of them being as color through intuitive abilities or through a mode of photography which captures the aura, called Kirlian photography.Open your heart and mind to experiencing the aura for yourself, and you will witness this very real phenomenon. Not everyone can see the colors, but anyone can learn and develop the skill through practice. Some people experience the aura as emotional feeling, physical feeling, or a sense of knowing.

In my experience, there is always energy around, creating an aura that surrounds a living being.

Once booked, I will reach out with confirmation of the date of your reading (within 4-8 days). For every reading, I call in the support of our ancestors and Spirit guides for assistance. I use distance reiki to help establish our connection across time and space. Before painting, I spend time meditating to receive messages for you that may arrive from your higher self, an unacknowledged emotion, a nearby spirit, a stuck energy, your very wishes, or beyond. Then I get out my watercolors and paint the colors I perceive around you as your aura. The part that takes the longest is the written interpretation, as I take great care in conveying your messages thoughtfully and compassionately. Once complete, your reading is sent to your provided e-mail. A photo submission is not really required, unless you would like to tap into a past moment in time. Your name and energetic intention is enough for us to connect at a higher plane.
