What is Tarot?
Tarot is a 78 card deck, each card correlating to a certain theme, experience, and emotion. In popular culture, people have associated Tarot with fortune telling and secretive esoteric practice. However, the deck can be used for personal development, spiritual exploration, and connection with your own inner wisdom. Like a mirror to your Soul, Tarot speaks through symbols and feelings.
Is Oracle the same thing as Tarot?
They are similar, but not the same thing. Tarot goes by a set framework, with the same number of cards, the same suits and themes, no matter the deck and its artwork. Oracle cards, on the other hand, are structured based on the creator's vision and the messages they wish to share. They may have more or less cards. They may stick to a specific theme or emotion, or convey a wide variety of such. I like to pull one or two cards from an oracle deck as a companion to a tarot reading.
Why get a Tarot reading?
Tarot helps us dig into the core of things, by putting us in touch with our unconscious feelings and thoughts. Readings are helpful for gaining an outside perspective, offering the clarity you've been seeking. They provide a guiding light during difficult and dark times, bringing inspiration and new insight to move you toward the light. A reading can put you back on track when you feel you've gone off course, or reassure you when all is well but you can't quite seem to settle in. I use tarot as a guiding and healing tool, providing a mirror to your Soul.
How do you read Tarot cards?
Every reader has their own style, so I will speak solely on how I read Tarot. Before I begin any session, I always make sure I'm grounded and my energy is clear. Then, I call in my Spirit Guides and any benevolent spirits that would like to be present to assists me. I use a combination of the imagery, my knowledge of the tarot system, my knowledge of psychology, my sensitivity to subtle energies, and my intuition to get the full picture.
How do online Tarot readings work?
Energy is not restricted by time and space. When you book an online reading with me, you open up a temporary energy cord for me to connect with you through. In this way, I'm able to tap in and channel insights and messages with the help of your Spirit Guides. I also use distance reiki, which helps support us both in the reading. When I pull cards for you in my space, it's as if you are sitting here with me in that moment. Later, when you open your e-mail to read your tarot messages, it's just as if you are sitting across from me, receiving your tarot insights in real time.
How can Tarot be accurate?
I'm a firm believer that the Universe will find a way to deliver the messages we need, when we need them. In this way, the cards become a tool to tap into different energies, inspirations, and flows of insight. Tarot speaks to your subconscious, helping emotions surface that you may have been avoiding. If you receive a reading that doesn't seem to resonate, give it time to stew. You may be too close to the situation to see it with full clarity.
Can Tarot predict the future?
Yes and no. Future events that may be intuited are never set in stone. You always have freewill to change an outcome in your reading that you do not like, thus, changing the timeline you were on. Things are always shifting. (A great example is the movie, the Butterfly Effect). My readings are always aimed to empower you to go after the future that will make you the happiest.
