Join us for a special seasonal gathering!

Feel the presence, love, and wisdom of those who came before. Our shared intention amplifies the connection. We will start off the evening with a gentle guided meditation to ground and connect you. Then, in a circle, we will pull our tarot spread, journaling and discussing what comes through. Folks can offer a different perspective on cards that you may feel stuck on. Courtney acts as a guide in helping you feel more connected with your ancestors through the evening.
  

If you have an item or a photo that connects you to a specific loved one, you may bring this to carry and keep close.

Every year, leading up to October 31st, it is said that the Veil between this world and the next thins. We become more sensitive to the energy and communication from Spirits and loved ones on the other side. 

This event falls only a few days before the 31st, giving you time to build your bridge to the spirit world. Leading up to November 1st, you may experience more vivid dreams, memories, visions, clairaudient songs or sayings, synchronistic signs, or moments of love & knowing that the ones who came before you are very close by.

About our guided meditation:

Courtney will walk you through a guided journey of Spirit. First, we ground into the present moment and our intuitive senses. Then we connect up to the spiritual realms of the ancestors. You may have a sense of knowing, colors, images, visions, memories, inspiration, music, phrases, or something else come to mind which corresponds to the messages your ancestors are bringing to you. This is a space for you to get imaginative and experience your own direct connection with the spirits. Our meditation lasts about 20 minutes in total.

Why connect with our Ancestors?

We are an extension of them. They share their support, love, and wisdom from the other side. Everyone may have a different reason for opening up to their ancestors. Some people connect in order to work on healing their lineage. Some connect because they’re seeking direction in life. Some call on them for help with spells and rituals, and some are simply curious. Your reason is likely to change as you evolve through life.

Is this workshop beginner friendly?

Basic tarot knowledge is helpful to have, but not necessary. A bit of familiarity will help you get the most out of this workshop.

What is your Tarot reading style?

When reading cards for myself or clients, I consider the traditional meanings and psychological correspondences, then lace in my whimsy. I take an intuitive approach, considering card imagery, symbolism, numerology, divination, spirituality, creative perspectives, and energy. I like to read for practical guidance while also curating an environment that feels like play, even when approaching difficult subjects. 

What supplies do I need to bring?

You’re encouraged to bring along your journal and tarot deck. If you do not have your own, that’s okay! I will bring along a few from my collection to share, and Moon Lady Plants will have some intentionally chosen decks available for purchase!

Meet Your Tarot Guide, Courtney

I'm passionate about making the cards accessible as a tool for self knowing and understanding, decision making, spiritual connection, therapeutic healing, divination, creativity, and exploration. I started reading Tarot for myself 7 years ago, and found it to be so enriching that I have since taken on clients, offered workshops, and taught classes on Tarot! I combine practical guidance with whimsy and mysticism in my approach to readings.

Courtney is a lifelong intuitive, with memories of paranormal encounters and communication with her grandmother on the other side. In her meditations and dreams, she connects with other realms. Courtney uses her abilities to share messages from Spirit Guides and open others up to their communication.
