Join us at Moon Lady Plants on Friday, September 25th from 6 to 8 pm, the eve of the Harvest Full Moon✨

A large tarot spread doesn’t have to be complicated or overwhelming. You can give yourself and friends clear, accurate, detailed tarot readings.

We‘ll go over the classic 10 card Celtic Cross in detail, using the Rider-Waite Smith deck/tarot system. You’ll gain new insight about the spreads within the spreads and how the cards speak the stories of our life through hands on experience. 

There will be time after our lesson to pair off and practice what we learned through a lighthearted reading exchange. I will be available to ask questions and coach attendees through reading their spread. 

This is an inclusive and safe community for curious souls. Please arrive with an open and humble heart.

Any class updates and reminders will be sent to the e-mail you submit when booking your seat.

What is the Celtic Cross 10 card spread?

It is a layered, complex spread of card pulls used for finding deep understanding of yourself and/or your situation. A different angle provided by each card offers a comprehensive view with new perspectives to ponder. Interestingly, the traditional spread is named for its shape, and not for any Celtic origins. We continue to utilize this structure shared with the public 116 years ago. I offer a modernized approach to the spread’s established roots.

Is this workshop beginner friendly?

Basic tarot knowledge is helpful to have, but not necessary. We will be pulling spreads and practicing readings, so a bit of familiarity will help you get the most out of this workshop.

What is your Tarot reading style?

When reading cards for myself or clients, I consider the traditional meanings and psychological correspondences, then lace in my whimsy. I take an intuitive approach, considering card imagery, symbolism, numerology, divination, spirituality, creative perspectives, and energy. I like to read for practical guidance while also curating an environment that feels like play, even when approaching difficult subjects. 

What supplies do I need to bring?

You’re encouraged to bring along your journal and tarot deck. If you do not have your own, that’s okay! I will bring along a few from my collection to share, and Moon Lady Plants will have some intentionally picked decks available for purchase!
