Fairy Q&A During the Strawberry Full Moon
Hello folks and friends! On a whim, I decided to answer the invitation from the fairies to open communication between them and my Earthly community through my Instagram stories. Many individuals messaged me afterward to thank me for various reasons. Some told me the series of fairy answers were inspiring, some told me it was super fun, and some told me that this re-sparked their fairy obsession! I love to help people bring forward their inner child and sense of whimsy.
For those that may be new here, welcome! I'm so happy you found my little corner of the web. I'm Courtney, a lifelong intuitive, among many other things. I communicate with fairies mostly for fun and self care. I also paint auras and energy, read tarot, and provide care to others through distance reiki. My work comes from a deep place of compassion for the human struggle, with a hope to awaken others to remembering what has been lost to the modern world.
About This Fairy Questions & Answers
To answer this Q&A, I connect intuitively with my spirit guides and different types of fairies, whoever wants to come through or let themselves be known at the time of the response. I do so by using a technique called automatic writing, where the intuitive or psychic information flows through me to the keyboard or the paper. It's sort of like being in a meditation or a type of trance state. I utilize automatic writing often for my written distance session readings, as well. I never claim to know the absolute answer… I just convey to the best of my training and ability my interpretation of the psychic information presented to me when I make myself receptive to it. This session is meant to be more fun than serious.
In the week leading up to the summer solstice this year, the fairies have been very present in my garden and in my life. I can feel this time of year the connection 'peaks' for lack of better term. I wanted to do this Q&A on the solstice, but felt the nudge to wait. I had many cool and undeniable psychic experiences during this time. Typically I’d offer a tarot special for the full moon, but this time around I wasn’t able to take as much time. I still felt such a big pull to open up for questions, be them about fairies, my experience with fairies, or even a direct personal question to the fairies. What was asked and came through in response was too fascinating to not share here with you today! I hope you enjoy, and that this Q&A brings you a missing piece you didn't realize you needed.
The following are in order of when they were submitted, all anonymous because that is how it was on Instagram. I may ask if I can add the names here! These are a mix of general and more personal questions, all fascinating!

What do fairies think of us or want for us?
The wind sprites came through to answer this. They explained it is because humans are so woven within their life and reality.
Wind sprites, what do the fairies think of us humans?
A lot of humans are so unaware, they're living asleep.
They are so controlled and tamed right now, some of this is helpful and some of it is just destructive to the Spirit. The fairies think this question is funny and they keep laughing; they say humans are always focused on themselves and their own experience.
They think it's silly because there is so much more to ask, but we humans are so unaware of how much more there is! These fairies do not understand our limited senses and restrictions in these bodies.
Wind sprites, what do the fairies want for us?
They want us to notice more. Notice the magic of the shapes in the clouds. Notice the miracle every day of just being alive. They want for us to feel that ravished feeling of.... simply being alive. It goes beyond words.
But they want us to have a never ending feeling of realization that this moment is a miracle, there is always so much magic in the mundane! Humans as a collective have forgotten, but we can all remember through our Spirit or Soul. The fairies as a collective want humans to treat themselves and their environment as sacred, because this all is. Such is always their most stressed message. Our plane affects the condition of theirs too. Our pollution pollutes their air, where the wind sprites live. Many air fairies have gone into hiding, becoming toxic cave gaseous mixtures as protection from humans. (We should not let the ego offense at their honest message.)
We still good? (For the fae)
The fairies are being very sassy. Like in a, "well if the shoe fits" kind of way, but not with malice. More like teasing and sticking their tongue out at you. I don't know what happened between y'all, but I honestly think they're f***ing with you😝
Everything is absolutely fine. If it's just that you haven't heard from them in a while, it's more likely that your Spirit is directing you to focus on Earth things a while. They'll be back!
how many fairies are in my garden & what do they need?
I saw 8, then the number turned on its side and became an infinity symbol. Your garden is a portal where many will come and go, so without a specific time frame in the question, they're like, "This is forever sister hehe!!!"
So l asked them how many are present in your garden
THIS WEEK. 187. This number might be surprising to you. I see a lot of them as little tiny like aphids or something very light, white or tan, pale winged fairies.
There are also fertilizer fairies very present and hard at work, like fresh nutrients, which reminds me of an animal manure. I see them riding on spiders and ants for fun and leisure! I also see some very unique bloom pixies, intricately winged and brightly colored! You'd think they are royalty, but it feels like your garden fairies don't live with hierarchy.
It feels like there are a lot of plants that like dryness, like they don't need too much water maybe? Because of this, it appears that the fairies don't get as much water from this environment as they'd like. They're asking you to put out small little "ponds" for them, especially in the evening and early morning! I wonder if there are small features that could collect just a bit more morning dew? Or a few small fancy teacups or glasses that add to the whimsy of the garden, while giving them clean fresh water? They really only need a smallili amount, nothing too crazy. The water helps provide them with energy and also provides a clear portal from their planes to ours. They say to do this only if you want to increase their connection and magic. They trust you and know you are kind. They anticinate sharing something meaningful with you wh ou're ready!
How would you advise connecting to fairies after moving to a new place?
Depending on your beliefs and/or rituals, definitely start by cleansing or blessing your space and land however feels right to you. Set your boundaries and let the energy know what you will or will not tolerate.
You can welcome in certain intentions, energies, spirits, guardians, fairies, etc. This doesn't have to be elaborate, you could simply walk or meditate in the area. After you cleanse/clear/bless, that leaves some "blank" energy that you get to fill in how you want (to put it very simply)! The fairies love when we create a nice energy environment for them to visit.
Because it's you specifically asking: The fairies love reiki! You can visualize colors or symbols that have meaning to you and project them into the area. You can invite them to make art with you. Play with them! I don't think you'll have any difficulty connecting!
If you'd like to connect even more directly, you could leave offerings, organic things like herbs, berries, baked goods, honey, cream, or sing a song, leave something handmade; in a quiet little "fairy" space you choose or create. You can be specific with who you want to connect with, if you would like.
Then, as the weeks go on, remain open to your imagination as a portal for connecting with the fairies, and get ready to get whimsical!

How can one know when they are around?
**Different fairy types can come through differently, this list is general!**
You can experience one or more:
• A sudden sense of wonder or mystery that hits you from out of the blue
• Feeling overcome by beauty, love, and/or gratitude Feeling watched, but not in a threatening way
• A soft fragrant smell like vanilla, florals, or herbs, especially when there isn't a visible source
• Hearing distance wind chimes, a flute, tinkling bell, or a singing voice or laughter, that you almost can't quite place or hold onto
• Shimmering in the air or sparkles on the water
• You find a small treasure that feels meant for you
• You feel like you've stepped back in time and are in the moment as your inner child
• You encounter a wild animal that seems to be communicating something to you
• Certain features in nature that make you think, "Fairies live here": tangled knotted roots, patches of flowers, tree archway, mushroom rings, etc.
• You may feel like someone is playing a trick on you, like getting turned around on a forest trail and going in loops!
• Your imagination is very active, and you might get random inspiring thoughts, creative ideas, warm memories, or visualizations of the fairies themselves
• This one can feel difficult to trust, but people who are claircognizant will have a knowing that fairies are present
Are they mad at me for not making any offerings lately?!
Nobody is mad at you❤️
Your relationship with them isn't transactional like that. Offerings deepen your connection but I don't get the sense they *need* anything, it's more of a delightful gift when you do. They get really excited when you remember and acknowledge them, but they're also busy living their own lives with their own jobs, too. We also need to remember that time is different where they are. It's sort of like no time has passed until the next offering, to put it very simply.
Now that they have your attention lol....
Someone from your fairy group is asking for a clear quartz crystal point. I also see this big grand dessert spread, but what stands out is this tall cake in the center, decorated with violets and marigolds. It tastes like cinnamon and honey, with a thin layer of buttercream.
Maybe they're inviting you to bake soon, and enjoy something sweet, with them in mind.
That said, these are not demands. It would be fun however to see what comes of fulfilling their ask😉
How do I know where the best place is to create a lil home, decorate for them?
The fairies ask that you have trust in your intuitive senses to guide you! You can ask them to give you signs, or they might tell you through dreams, or you'll simply know one day. Your mind will say, "This is the place!"
Typically, we should find a quiet place tucked away from the noise of the world. It doesn't have to be a remote spot way out of town, you can even pick a corner of a room in your home or a flower pot on your porch. If you have pets, make it a spot the pets won't intrude upon, if possible.
The most important elements for this spot are
INTENTION and ENERGY. Set the vibe and let the fairies know this spot is for them, if they would like to connect with Earth and potentially with you directly.
For decorating, it might depend on the kind of fairies you're calling in. Generally I connect with pixies & sprites (who we envision when we hear "fairies"), but there are many types that carry their own unique energies: Gnomes, Elves, Merfolk, Aos-Si, Dryads, elemental fae, etc.
DECORATING: You can create a "fairy altar" or a garden meant for them. You can create a small fairy home or place small furniture for them. You can paint or craft a doorway or portal for them. They really enjoy organic materials, some fairies can be a bit particular, but not all. Crystals, stones, interesting sticks or treasures like small gems or sea glass are all nice decor for the fairy folk. Spirals are powerful for fae too, as this represent the infinite quantum reality that we all share and are enfolded within, overlapping together.
Do they like offerings left in the woods for them?
Absolutely! The fairies enjoy offerings wherever you feel called to leave them - There aren't super strict rules for where to leave your offerings, but the location can affect the potency of your connection. Try to find "safe" spots for them, out of the way from pets OR humans that could be unkind or disrespectful to nature.
Offerings bridge our world to the fairy's, any where.
Are there any reasons or circumstances we should fear fairies! (Part 1)
This is one of my favorite questions because I love busting myths! Much of the scary stories about fairies are the human's imagination becoming destructive through fear projection.
When humans become disconnected from nature and their true human instincts of love, the fear of the unknown can take over.
Sometimes the scary stories about fairies are just ways for humans to cope with their own inner monster they feel they cannot overcome.
I do want to address that in some cases, lower vibration beings' can convey themselves as fairies or even spirits of loved ones. This is why it's important to be discerning so you are not misled! These 'lower' energetic beings have very little control or influence on Earth, but they can gain some through our emotions such as fear, desperate necessity, excessive desire, etc.— parts of our humanness that can become exploited.
We do not need to be afraid of fairies.
Nor do we need to be afraid of lower energies.
Earth is your realm, not theirs. You're the one in control here!
Are there any reasons or circumstances we should fear fairies! (Part 2)
Some colorful beetle-like pixies came through and asked me to clarify:
There are times when fairies have intervened on human's destruction which could be interpreted as the fairies being scary. What immediately comes to mind is this story involving aliens where a farmer's cows were somehow all moved to another farm overnight. Aliens or fairies, or one in the same phenomena?
To those who are disrespectful and unkind to nature, animals, and their fellow human, the fairies may try to scare a person into doing the right thing. But it would never be for no reason. And they wouldn't ever cause any physical harm.
Are there some fairies that will hide your stuff and others that will find it for you?
Absolutely to both!
If you think you've just lost something, you can recruit the fairies to help you find it. Ask nicely, or even leave an offering somewhere. Just like we have Spirit guides, guardians, etc. (depending on your beliefs), we also have personal fairy guides with us!
If you think they're hiding your stuff:
Fairies like playing with us. They don't have the same idea of right/wrong as humans, so their tricks can feel really inconvenient or at times even mean spirited. They just think it's funny! I've come the the conclusion that the sooner you laugh, the sooner you find what was lost. Most of the time, the same ones who hide your stuff are the same ones that help you find it, but it's not when you ask- it's when you surrender and laugh. They're trying to bring you joy, play, and lighter vibes.
how can i deepen my connection with the fae on my land? (Part 1)
It sounds so simple, but the most potent way is to spend time there, mindful and present.
Notice the beauty and share your admiration. Allow yourself to be calm and receptive.
Step into your inner child and let her take over for a bit. Get into your imagination and release your judgements. Just play! See what you imagine as you're here.
You can share offerings or if possible, plant a native garden, to continue deepening the connection.

You can ask an intuitive who works with fairies (like me)! This Q&A is a great opportunity, if you'd like a more personalized answer please let me know by the end of today while I'm still answering these!
You can absolutely discover the fae types present for yourself through your own intuitive and spiritual abilities or gifts.
Depending on your strengths, you might receive answers through visions, colors, shapes; through music or words; through a sense of knowing; through signs or animals in nature; through your ancestors or spirit guides. If you are confident or fairly knowledgable/practiced with a certain form of intuitive communication/understanding, start with that ability/gift. You can also use tools like tarot/oracle, automatic writing, channeled art, pendulum, dowsing rods, runes, etc. There is no wrong way, besides trying something that doesn't resonate with you. Stay true to yourself and don't force it or feel like you have to make it complicated with a bunch of tools or rituals!
