Fairy Tarot Correspondences

Fairy Tarot Correspondences

I recently shared a tarot spread for fairy communication. I wanted to elaborate more on how you can use tarot in the context of the fae or fairy world. I love using my cards in creative and interesting ways. I hope to inspire you to do the same!

I first reconnected with the fairy realm in adulthood during a dark night of the Soul and spiritual awakening. Since then, different fairies have acted as guides, teachers, healers, and illuminators along my path. Pixies have brought my inner child home. Forest elves have soothed my heart and my physical pains. Mermaids have helped me go deeper into my emotions and femininity, have helped me with my confidence as a singer and performer.

Different types of fairies have different energies and sets of skills. Some are potent healers. Some help you open your mind and expand your consciousness. Some tune you into your spiritual and psychic gifts. There are no limits to the possibilities. You can connect with fairies too! I'm so excited to share this with you, and I hope you find it helpful. You can discover more fairy resources here.

A Couple Notes

I offer multiple cards for each listed Fairy in order to help you in your readings. Always take what resonates and leave the rest.

When leaving an offering, remember that it’s about the energy and thought that goes into it, not about what it is. Anything can be an offering when done correctly.

The following information is based on my experience in my intuitive work and journey into the fairy realm. As I discover more, I will update this post.

I Don't See My Card?

This is not a complete list because I don't personally correspond every card to a fairy type. However, if you do not see your pulled card on this correspondence list, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you aren’t connecting with an energy or spirit of some sort.

Always look to your own personal associations that you have with your card. Who or what does it call to mind?

Take in every detail first. Look at the colors, certain symbols within the imagery, animals, the number and suit, etc.

Then, let them stew in your mind for a bit. Do your best not to overthink it. Let the magic speak to you!

Lack of Fairy Connection

2 of Swords, 8 of Swords, 10 of Swords

To Pull these cards often indicate that your session is not currently connecting you with a fairy or spirit. If you pulled a spread already with one or more of the above cards to represent the fairy, the spread is more likely picking up surrounding you or a situation. If you pulled any of these cards to represent the fairy or their role or their message, it indicates hidden, unknown, or blocked information.

2 of Swords can indicate a need to center yourself and quiet your mind in order to more clearly connect.

8 of Swords can indicate that you are blocking yourself from connecting. Sometimes this happens out of fear, a limiting belief, or a shadow aspect.

10 of Swords can indicate that you need to rest up before getting into this! Take a break and go for some self care that helps replenish your energy.
