Ancestor Tarot Walk

Wednesday, October 23, 5pm in Biddeford, ME

Every year, leading up to October 31, the Veil between this world and the next thins. We become more sensitive to the energy and communication that is always there from Spirits and loved ones on the other side.

You, too, can connect with your ancestors. This walk falls one week before the 31st, giving you time to deeply connect. After this event, leading up to that night, you may experience dreams, visions, clairaudient communication, or moments of knowing that your loved one is close by.

We will meet at the trail head for a short grounding, protecting, and connecting guided meditation. We will then visit hallowed grounds in the forest, helping us bridge to the other side. We will then return to the trail head, where we will pull tarot messages from the ancestors by candlelight. If you have an item or a photo that connects you to a specific loved one, you may bring this to carry and keep close. 

Why connect with Ancestors? We are an extension of them. They share their support, love, and wisdom from the other side. Everyone may have a different reason for opening up to their ancestors. Some people connect to work on ancestral healing. Some connect because they are seeking direction in life. Some call on them for help with spells and rituals. 

You’re welcome to bring along your own offering, but please make sure that it is natural, organic, and biodegradable. Things flowers, herbs, or stones are perfect. You could even share a poem or sing a song, if you feel led to. Please come positive intentions and an open heart.

This walk is light paced, short walk, but does involve going uphill on the way back. Expect us to take around an hour. 

There is a parking lot at the trail head located on Pool st. in Biddeford, ME. By showing up, you agree to be responsible for your own safety as well as the safety of anyone you bring with you on this walk.
