Understanding your aura can enrich your life in profound ways. Today I’m sharing with you a deeper dive into just what exactly each section of your aura can potentially reveal….
Your aura watercolor is painted so that looking at it is like looking into a mirror. The left side of the artwork corresponds with the left side of your body, and likewise with the right.
The Bottom: The Foundation
The bottom portion of your aura painting relates to your past. It’s formed through your childhood and teenage years, typically consistent through your lifetime. However, things like trauma in adulthood or a big change in life path can shift the foundation’s color drastically.
The colors you see in your foundation represent your groundedness and connection to the world itself. They indicate how you stand in reality and where you feel you fit in. They can also give insight into your relationship with yourself.
Most people have 1-3 colors that shift in their foundation through the seasons each year.
Understanding your energetic foundation empowers you in your healing journey to take the steps that are right for you. It helps you process and release what hasn’t been serving you for your highest good. Many clients have an a-ha moment when their foundational energy reveals patterns they hadn’t realized they were stuck in, and can then break free from!
The Top: The Present
The top of your aura is what creates the halo we’ve observed in art depictions of Angels and Holy figures. People can express this auric feature into the physical in times of great emotion, like the love felt when holding your child for the first time, or the compassion felt when giving an energy healing.
The top of your aura is made up of energy in the very present moment. The colors can shift within seconds as your thoughts and ideas change. They can also offer a glimpse into your intentions and how well they’re manifesting into reality. Sometimes, current projects or obligations show up here.
Learning about your present energy helps you sort through what you’re truly thinking and feeling. It can give you perspective on if you are living in alignment with what you truly want for yourself. It also helps you understand the energy and intentions you could be subconsciously putting out into the world.
The Left: Inner World
Things or energies being received will show up on the left side. They tend to appear as shapes among the colors of your watercolor, like animals, letters, or figures.
The left half of your body energetically deals with yourself. This half of your aura painting will give you insight into your personal development and deeper emotions. This is where the shadow is likely to appear, especially in the lower left side of the foundation. It gives insight into what matters most to you. Colors on the left will also tell you about any psychic and spiritual gifts that you may have!
Spirit Guides, Angels, and loved ones on the other side most often appear on this side of your aura painting. I always see them as orbs over the left shoulder, or even shapes within the aura itself. Sometimes they have messages to share, other times they simple want me to confirm they are there so that you can fully open yourself to communication with them.
The Right: Outer World
The right side of our bodies energetically deal with what is outside of ourselves. This is where energies we’ve picked up from other people and places will often stick and hang out. (This is your reminder to cleanse your aura today!) Your painting can offer insight into how your environment is affecting you.
The energies on your right can tell you about what you’re offering or putting out into the world. Again, these could appear as shapes like letters, animals, even human figures. You may also be able to see if what you’ve been releasing is/has moving/ed out of your energetic system, for those in the midst of a healing journey.
The Very Center
Sometimes, your Soul comes through for your aura session, right in the middle of your painting. This isn’t the case for everyone, but when it does happen, it’s most often because you’re going through an awakening or are moving through deep healing. It can come through because loved ones and Angels are trying to come through for you, and your Soul is opening a clearer channel. The Soul can also appear in your aura because you’re in the midst of an important karmic shift.
External Orbs
Some aura paintings feature little balls of color above the left shoulder. These are how your spirits, loved ones, Angels, fairies, Earth elementals, extraterrestrials, and any other being from a different realm will appear. Different colors have different meaning, and each one is channeled during your session, so there isn’t a set interpretation for the orbs.
At times, I have also had orbs come through with psychic information about a really strong inspired idea or intention. Usually, it’s because the individual is denying or limiting their ability to fulfill it. These are likely to appear over the right shoulder, usually when circumstances are lining up for you, but you’re not taking the opportunities.
Arch of Color
Sometimes in life, we feel the need to conceal our true selves for fear of judgement or safety. There have been times in my aura paintings this has come through as a layer of color outside of the aura itself.
This corresponds to an energy or vibe you’re putting out to the world. When the color matches your aura, it indicates you’re expressing yourself authentically. However, when the colors differ, it’s a strong indication that you’re putting on a mask. Understanding this feature of your aura helps you reconnect with your authenticity and live a more freeing life.
