Aura Color Compatibility

When it comes to understanding relationships and our role in them, the ways in which we radiate can offer insight and guidance in finding deeper connection.

Every individual is surrounded by a glow of unique colors, all of which reflect their inner world, personality, social tendencies, needs, and more.

Have you ever experienced an instant connection with someone new? Or felt yourself repelled by an individual? Like all energy, there is a polar attraction or deflection that takes place within and around our auras, depending on the frequencies we carry in our aura!

Certain colors that are detected within each aura can indicate strong compatibility; while other colors are likely to reveal information about how the individuals differ, and therefore could experience conflict.

By knowing the color(s) of your aura, you can better understand your love style and ideal friendships or romantic relationship!

The following are common examples I have experienced in my readings between friends, family, and partners.

Brown/Tan

Friendships: Tan, Brown, Muted Yellows like Mustard, Deep Reds, Green -- Browns get along great with other Earthy individuals, who are more focused on the material world. They prefer friends who are stable and focused on survival.

Love: Deep Reds, Green -- Browns will have their hearts opened in ways they could never expect with passionate, sexy reds and thoughtful, caring greens.

Most likely to clash with: Bright Yellow, Bright Orange, Magenta -- Browns aren't close-minded, but they do have their limits on what they can tolerate as far as people who are a little more upbeat, creative, eccentric, and out there. Browns are definitely conservative in comparison, and would probably be seen as a bit of a wet blanket in their company.

Red

Friendships: Tan, Brown, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green -- Reds like to connect with people who are down to Earth and present in the material.

Love: Green, Purple, Pink -- When it comes to love, greens are a great match, bringing in lots of caring heart energy. They tend to be drawn to individuals in tune with a higher power. Though a red may not partake themselves in the spiritual, they find it beautiful and often fascinating.

Most likely to clash with: Blue, Indigo, Magenta -- Reds may have a hard time understanding the emotional capacity and the understanding of higher spiritual concepts that these individuals reside in. There isn't dislike or hate necessarily between these colors, but a disconnect in their perception that can make it hard to meet in the middle.

Orange

Friendships: Red, Yellow, Green, Magenta -- Oranges are very Earth/material based in their perceptions of the world, but their creativity allows them to spent time with yellows and magentas, who will open their minds. Oranges can have a fun unhinged time with a Red friend. Their green friends bring them new understanding of their emotions and the way relationships work.

Love: Orange, Green, Blue -- An orange absolutely needs to be with someone that will understand their swings in emotion. They may try to make it work with someone, but it fizzles out with the passion and lust.

Most likely to clash with: Tan, Brown, Indigo -- To a tan/brown, oranges can see immature and childish, or over-the-top in how they choose to live their lives, because of the orange aura's adventurous ways. Though they're drawn to the indigo for their individualism and mystique, oranges can become overbearing or overstimulating.

Yellow

Friendships: Tan, Red, Orange, Blue, Indigo, Purple -- Yellows are dynamic when it comes to friendships. Their youthfulness gives them the energy to socialize and meet people where they're at. They often like to meet with people of all ages and backgrounds, becoming pieces of each individual they meet.

Love: Yellow, Purple, Magenta, Pink -- Yellows do best in relationships with people that can be a bit out there. Their partner should be someone open-minded and capable of abstract thinking.

Most likely to clash with: Green -- To a green, yellows can come across as a know-it-all, no matter their intentions. Both individuals will think their right, usually leading to googling the fact. This can be fun, as long as their Egos are in check.

Green

Friendships: Brown, Tan, Red, Indigo, Pink -- Honestly, greens could probably be friends with anyone. However, for the sake of this article, I narrowed it down to these 5 aura colors. Greens get along great with individuals who are attuned to the Earth's energies. They like people who are very practical, and can appreciate a friend who is a little cosmic and out there.

Love: Brown, Red -- Greens do best with someone that can match their love with action. Their partner should be a thoughtful provider, who can be depended on after the end of each day.

Most likely to clash with: Yellow, Purple -- Greens tend to be quite tolerant and understanding, but the fantasies of yellows and purples can grow irritating at times. Actions speak louder than words, and these are colors are most likely to procrastinate or think simply the thought is always enough.

Turquoise

Friendships: Orange, Green, Blue, Indigo, Crystal -- A turquoise aura needs to be with someone that can understand their emotional sensitivity and need for extra space from time to time.

Love: Tan, Blue, Purple, Magenta -- Turquoise typically carry a second dominant color in their aura, which will indicate if they prefer the consistency and dependability of a tan, or the free-flowing, non-conventional purple/magenta.

Most likely to clash with: Brown, Red, Yellow, Pink -- Browns/reds can be too cut and dry, often having trouble understanding why the turquoise has so much feeling within them. Yellows/pinks can be too upbeat, coming across as having toxic positivity to a turquoise, no matter if they come from an understanding and compassionate place.

Blue

Friendships: Tan, Purple -- Blues love the way a tan and a purple individual can appreciate their creative expressions. Tans will validate their physical projects, while purples will help a blue expand on their wildest visions.

Love: Yellow, Blue, Indigo, Purple, Crystal -- Blues need a relationship that doesn't make them ever feel like an outsider. They tend to be the black sheep in their family, and will too often try to make it work with the wrong person. Yellows bring them mental stimulation as well as inspiration. These listed aura colors enable healing to take place for a blue aura.

Most likely to clash with: Brown, Red, Orange, Green, Rainbow -- Blues live based on their emotions, which can be hard to understand for brown/red/orange, and even sometimes green, who live based on their experience in the physical (orange is emotional, but does not always understand their feelings; green is emotional, but does not allow emotions to run their life). When it comes to the rainbow aura, a blue may feel intimidated or even accuse a rainbow of being fake.

Indigo

Friendships: Brown, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Purple, Magenta -- Indigos may seem to not like people, but in truth, they get along well with many aura colors when one on one. Their friend will have to make time for intimate conversation and connection.

Love: Green, Blue, Indigo, Purple, Crystal -- Indigos need to be in a relationship with someone that gets people. They should have compassion and the ability to understand the indigo's big feelings about the environment, social causes, and positive change for All.

Most likely to clash with: Red, Orange -- At times, red/orange can be close-minded, making it difficult to connect at all with an indigo.

Purple

Friendships: Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue, Indigo, Purple -- Purples are dynamic with who they can befriend, though they tend to prefer one on one time over big gatherings and parties. They enjoy meeting with people from all walks of life, providing them with a broad perspective of the world.

Love: Orange, Blue -- Purples are often attracted to people who are emotional, as they may struggle at times to understand their own emotions. At times, this attraction can be at their own detriment. However, oranges can bring lots of adventure and fun into their lives; blues can brings motivation and inspiration for expression the purple's inner vision and creativity.

Most likely to clash with: Red, Indigo, Rainbow -- A purple aura can struggle to understand the rigid thinking of a red. Purples can grow frustrated at times with an indigo's concerns that span across the planet, far and wide, as a purple is more concerned about creating change at home. A rainbow aura may be too energetic and dynamic for a purple, changing up their vibe more quickly than the purple can keep up with.

Magenta

Friendships: Orange, Yellow, Pink, Magenta -- Magentas do best in friendships that celebrate their weird, and even egg them on!

Love: Yellow, Turquoise -- A relationship with a yellow can be grounding for the magenta, helping them be more organized and communicative. Turquoise auras help the magenta slow down and enjoy the small things.

Most likely to clash with: Brown, Tan, Red -- Magentas can be a little too much for the wrong people. They are unapologetically themselves, which can scare off brown/tan/red, who live in the pleasures of the Earth plane, at times covering up their true selves in order to survive.

Pink

Friendships: Crystal -- Pinks could probably become friends with any aura color, but the absolute best of friends to a pink is the crytal aura! They can match the high vibe love, and understand the hope and joys of a pink.

Love: Brown, Tan, Red, Green -- In a relationship, pinks like to settle down with someone consistent and dependable. They tend to choose a partner that will give them lots and lots of affection and care.

Most likely to clash with: Turquoise -- Pinks can have a difficult time understanding the experiences of a turquoise, and why they sit so deeply with their emotions. Turquoise can have a hard time understanding how a pink can be so carefree. In the right conditions, they can enlighten one another with a new point of view.

Rainbow

Friendships: Gets along with most all people -- Rainbows are social chameleons, able to switch it up and find common ground with just about anyone.

Love: Purple, Rainbow -- They need to be with a person that will honor their individuality and give them the space to do all the things on their plate.

Most likely to clash with: Tan, Brown, Blue -- Tan/browns may have trouble keeping up with the rainbow's many interests, hobbies, friends, and plans. Blues may feel neglected by a rainbow aura. Though this was never the case, a blue aura tends to have higher emotional needs, preferring lots of one on one time with their partner.

Crystal

Friendships: Turquoise, Pink -- Crystals like friends that really get the human experience. Their turquoise aura friends provide space for them to be themselves, connecting at a Soul level. Their pink aura friends can meet them in a very high vibe place. Together, their energy brings healing to communities.

Love: Blue, Indigo -- Crystals feel best in a romance that has deep understanding of people and why they do the things that they do.

Most likely to clash with: Not applicable -- In all honesty, the crystal aura rises above conflict. They can engage in discussion and debate without becoming emotionally attached to the other's opinions or attitudes.

Sparkling Gold

Friendships: Green, Purple -- As an ascended energy, sparkling golds need friends that are compassionate (green) and tapped into spiritual and intuitive frequencies (purple).

Love: Yellow, Gold, Rainbow -- Golds can have lots of fun with yellow auras, who help the sparkling gold release any heaviness the carry as healers and wise-women of their community. Other golds and rainbows will understand the sparkling gold aura's experiences in their spiritual journey, so that they do not feel isolated in their romantic relationship.

Most likely to clash with: Not applicable -- As healers, the sparkling gold knows when to discuss and when to disengage from conflict. They take the high road; it would have to take something seriously crazy to knock them off this course.
